The Stick Out Your Tongue Project is a science project for citizens directed by the CRG (The Centre for Genomic Regulation). It is a study of the buccal microbiome in children between the ages of 11 and 14 years old. The main objective is to capture the attention of this target. Consequently, we developed a different kind of communication approach that was fresh and direct. Thus, sacalalengua.org was born. It has become a project with important repercussions throughout the national territory. The impact rapidly grew to proportions that went way beyond initial expectations.
